The engineering progression from pose observations to game integration.

IMPLEMENTEDSOURCE REVIEW / 2026.09.09

A foundation for observing pose

A provider-neutral pose model and the Apple Vision native boundary establish joint observations. Camera ownership, tracking state and frame order need clear contracts before recognition.

Body references and an action vocabulary

Neutral calibration and body-relative geometry support the legacy motion intent engine. Lateral movement, crouch, punches, block and the later jump implementation have action-specific temporal and rearm rules.

Game integration and research

Runner integration connects recognized events to game-action acceptance. The MediaPipe research path, local-reference V3 work and a separate Demo Assist profile accumulated over time. Added implementation is distinct from physical acceptance.

The 2026-09-08 checkpoint

The project record preserves the accumulated motion and Runner research as an experimental checkpoint. It includes completed-result admission and decision-clock corrections while retaining known readiness and subgesture-motion failures. It records no release acceptance.

The 2026-09-09 source review

This website’s documentation follows the currently readable implementation and state records. The new research branch prepares offline upper-body observability analysis, but physical comparison with compatible real pose data remains incomplete. It is not presented as a new gameplay recognizer.

Conditions for the next entry

Future entries should separate source changes, automated validation, device runtime and human physical acceptance. Historical tests must not become current claims without a date and supporting evidence.
